In light of recent actions since the 2016 Federal Budget was announced with a huge blow to our efforts towards achieving the exemption for the Self Storage industry. We have been advised by the CFIB, that in the spirit of the above mentioned motto tthey have stepped up their actions towards acheiving our goal for exemption of the Mininum Employee number rule under the Active/Passive Tax Rule, currently not enabling small Self Storage owners to take advantage of the Smsll Busines Tax Credits. This stong support of the CFIB is just one huge benefit of the partnership that your Canadian Self Storage Association has with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB)!
